圣埃德蒙中学简介
　　圣埃德蒙中学位于英国的剑桥，学院成立于1896年，是剑桥大学的31所学院之一，也是剑桥大学6所研究生学院之一。学院同时是一所学生最多元化的学院，由来自50多个不同国家与地区的学生们组成。 圣埃德蒙中学以它友好的学习气氛及优良的历史传统而著称。剑桥大学的其它学院的学生们按照等级分别进餐，而圣埃德蒙中学并没有这样的要求，学院的本科生与研究生混在一起进餐与参加其它的多种多样的社会活动。 圣埃德蒙中学开设设计领域广阔的本科与研究生学位的课程，包括：各种领域的艺术，认人学及科学，包括犯罪学，历史，天文及兽医学。学院定期举办跨学科研讨会及讲座，参加讲座的来自不同的学术背景，有学校的教职人员，研究人员及大量学院的荣誉合作伙伴等等。
　　
St Edmund's College, Cambridge
　　St Edmund's College is a graduate College with about 50 Fellows and 350 student members, including some mature students studying as undergraduates. It is committed to the support of its members who are working across all academic disciplines studying for degrees of the University of Cambridge and/or carrying out research. A relaxed and cordial atmosphere is encouraged in which undergraduates, graduates and Fellows mix freely. The College is noted for the strength of its international community: about two-thirds of the students are from some 60 countries, and one-third are UK residents.
　　
Honorary Degree for Sir Martin Evans
　　Nobel Laureate Sir Martin Evans FRS, and Honorary Fellow of St Edmund’s College is to be awarded the degree of Doctor of Law honoris causa by the University of Cambridge at a Congregation to be held on the 23rd June.
　　Sir Martin was formerly Professor of Mammalian Genetics and Fellow of St Edmund’s College when he worked in Cambridge. He received his Nobel Prize in 2007 for the discovery of mammalian embryonic stem cells.

How will your gift be used?
　　At present the Annual Fund donations are committed to scholarship and hardship support for our students but College Council will make a decision each year about how the Annual Fund is to be spent.
　　The building Development Plan is proceeding apace and financial contributions to buildings, furniture, gates, sports facilities, music facilities and the new library are always welcome. We continue to have a need to be able to fund bursaries for graduate students and affiliated/mature undergraduates, particularly those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. In addition we would like to increase the endowment, income from which ensures that all of our students are able to benefit fully from their time in Cambridge
